Recently, the Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Health Commission, the Drug Administration and the Medical Security Bureau jointly issued the "Several Opinions of Hainan Province on Supporting the Transfer and Transformation of Achievements of Major National Science and Technology Projects for the Creation of Major New Drugs", proposing to explore the development of specialized services for human genetic resources, support the application of stem cell clinical research and transformation applications in the Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone in accordance with regulations, and accelerate the transfer and transformation of achievements in the field of biomedicine in Hainan.

The opinions include: supporting the construction of public service platforms, supporting the conduct of drug clinical trials, optimizing the medical insurance support mechanism, supporting the conduct of stem cell clinical research, increasing the introduction of high-end biomedical talents, promoting the efficient cross-border flow of biomedical innovation elements, supporting the innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine, supporting multi-channel financing of innovative drugs and high-end medical equipment companies, and encouraging pharmaceutical companies to actively apply for Hainan Province's key industry support awards.
