This is an important measure to implement the tax-free policy for overseas exhibits of the China International Consumer Goods Expo, build an international tourism consumption center, expand opening up to the outside world, and enhance the international image and influence of Hainan Free Trade Port!

What is the tax-free policy for overseas exhibits?
Before the island is closed, imported exhibits within the prescribed upper limit sold during the Consumer Goods Expo are exempt from import tariffs, import value-added tax and consumption tax. The upper limit of the sales of exhibits for each exhibitor to enjoy tax preferential policies shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the annex. Exhibits that enjoy tax preferential policies do not include goods prohibited from import by the state, endangered animals and plants and their products, tobacco, alcohol and automobiles.

How is the tax-free policy for overseas exhibits implemented?
For exhibits sold during the exhibition period that exceed the quantity or amount limit specified in the annex, and exhibits that are not sold during the exhibition period and are not returned to the country after the exhibition period, taxes shall be levied in accordance with relevant national regulations.

How to manage the list of exhibits?
The list of participating enterprises and the list of exhibits sold during the exhibition period shall be submitted to Haikou Customs by the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau or its designated unit.
